Applications are open for the Swiss Government Excellence Scholarships Programme for the 2027–2028 academic year.
The maximum age for applicants is 35 years. The programme offers two types of scholarships:
- Research Scholarship — for PhD students, for up to 12 months;
- PhD Scholarship — for PhD students, for up to 36 months.
Applications opened on 20 August 2026. Application deadlines for individual countries will be published on the official website of the Swiss Government in August 2026.
