From 7 to 9 October 2026, the Khachatur Abovian Armenian State Pedagogical University hosted the final conference of the Erasmus+ DeSIRe project in Yerevan. The event was attended by representatives of partner universities and quality assurance agencies from Armenia, Georgia and EU countries, as well as students.
The project’s main outcomes were presented at the meeting: five ECTS-compliant soft skills modules, five MOOCs and assessment methodologies. A panel discussion was also held on the readiness of higher education institutions for the 21st-century labour market.
Participants discussed and evaluated the soft skills teaching guide, the project website, the certification process and the business plans of the soft skills laboratories. At the close of the conference, the Soft Skills Laboratories Cooperation Agreement between Armenian and Georgian universities was officially signed.
