Applications are open for the Franz Werfel Fellowship, funded by the Republic of Austria, Federal Ministry of Women, Science and Research (BMFWF) and administered by OeAD – Austria’s Agency for Education and Internationalisation.
The fellowship is intended for PhD students, PhD holders/postdocs and researchers in the humanities, particularly German language and Austrian literature, and supports research stays in Austria for 4–9 months, with a monthly grant of EUR 2,500. a maximum of 7 new fellowships are awarded per academic year, with the possibility of renewal for a total duration of up to 18 months.
