On 1 September 2026, the ARIVE consortium held an in-person meeting in Tbilisi, bringing together partner institutions to review the progress of the Erasmus+ project and coordinate the next stage of its implementation.

Ilia State University, a member of the ARIVE international consortium, was represented by Dr. Ivane Abiatari, Head of the School of Medicine.

Following the completion of the first six months of the project, partners discussed the transition from the preparatory phase to active implementation, including upcoming online training activities, the Virtual Research Semester, dissemination and visibility, as well as the further development of the project’s governance structure.

The meeting provided an opportunity to align institutional responsibilities and coordinate the consortium’s next steps toward strengthening research education through virtual, interdisciplinary and international collaboration.
