On September 11, a regional meeting of UN Modeling took place at the Ilia Chavchavadze State University. UN Modeling, which is an acknowledged and approved game throughout the world, is regularly organized for the school pupils, university students and representatives of the governments of different countries. By the means of specially elaborated methodology participants get acquainted with peculiarities of international policy. That enables them to learn more about multisided diplomacy and have fun at the same time. The simulation of the UN Security Council became possible with support of the Georgian Youth Club of the UN Association and Ilia Chavchavadze State University. About 30 delegates from the three South Caucasian countries discussed the issue of nuclear non distribution in the world. During the sessions they had to act as diplomats, orators, conduct negotiations. At the end of the game participants adopted a joint resolution where they presented their assessment of the above mentioned global problem.
