On June 1, 2010 The Science and Technology Centre in the Ukraine launched its regular project STCU #4744 “Methods of Receiving Nanoparticles Through Extremophiles”. Financial support throughout duration of the project (three years) will be provided by a Canadian supporter. The project is to be realized in collaboration with the Andronikashvili Institute of Physics and Kharkov Karazin National University (Ukraine). A manager and scientific leader of the project is Prof. Nelly Tsibakhashvili.  Tsibakhashvili will work with a team of scholars that includes professors Ivan Murusidze, Tamaz Kalabegishvili, Nunu Metreveli, PhD students David Gvarjaladze, Olia Rcheulishvili and researcher Levan Lomidze.
