Water complex “Laguna Vere” hosts memorial mini water polo tournament in honor of famous Georgian trainers Rostom Chachava and Vladimer Barnabishvili for the second time. During the tournament fifteen teams competed in two age groups.

Members of water polo club “Ligamus” (Irakli Razmadze, Mamuka Tukhareli, Rezo Imnaishvili, Giorgi Chedia, Levan Mosashvili, Lasha Berishvili, Giorgi Turkia, Zurab Kvirkvelia, Jemal Zambakhidze, trainer: Soso Maisuradze) from Ilia State University played well, among the young sportsmen (born in 1997-1998), and after defeating “Iveria-1” army sports club and “Iveria-2” with the score 2:0 won the first prize. Maisuradze’s pupils spent the summer in a Kobuleti training camp.

In the adult age category (born in 1995-1996) after having celebrated two victories “Ligamus-1” and “Iveria-1” met in the final. The team from Iliauni won the first period with the score 4:0 and was leading the second period too (3:2) until “Iveria-1” managed to reverse the game at the crucial moment and defeated ISU with a 4:3 victory in the second and a 4:1 victory in the third period. Second and third places went to “Ligamus-1” and “Ligamus-2”.
