On May 13, 2010 café of the book-store “Ligamus” hosted presentation of the magazine “Liberal”.

Chief editor Shorena Shaverdashvili and journalists met the students of the university and made them familiar with a concept of the magazine, which sets the goal to be independent, quality oriented, politically neutral print and online edition. “Liberal” offers its readers balanced and objective news, in-depth research on different issues and analysis of the following topics: society, politics, education, healthcare, economy, business, human rights, religion, ecology, science etc. One of the highly discussed topics of the meeting concentrated on the events of the previous week and scandal connected to Deisadze’s book. Students talked about their opinion and general attitude of the society regarding the issue. They also shared with the authors of the magazine their interests and ideas about the topics they would like to see discussed on the pages of the “Liberal.”

Meeting between the authors of “Liberal” and students of the Ilia State University was conducted in a mode of a dialogue.
