Mr. Akaki Seperteladze, Deputy Minister of Education visited construction sight of the college of sports of the Ilia State University.
 
Starting from the coming academic year, College of Sports of Ilia State University, which offers its students a four-year undergraduate program, will continue its activities in a new building at 2 University Street. Thjs new premises will be equipped with classrooms for theoretical sessions, labs for biochemistry, physiology and anatomy studies, three large lecture rooms, a computer cluster and a presentation hall. The Bbuilding has the capacity to accommodate 600 students. Along with their theoretical education they will be able to conduct practical training at the “Karishkhala” sports complex.
 
College of Sports of the Ilia State University enrolls students in two undergraduate programs: teacher of physical education and trainer. In future it is planed to introduce new programs for professional reeducation of the teachers, trainers and referees into the curriculum of the college.
