On June 10, Ilia State University (32 Ilia Chavchavadze Ave.) hosted festive certificate awards ceremony at the inclusive education summer school.

A three-week study course of the summer school, supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the Ministry of Education of Norway, was attended by sixty students. Fourteen of them represented Ilia State University.

Summer school took place at the premises of the Ilia State University from June 21 until July 10. It consisted of two modules: “Inclusive Education and Classroom Practice” and “Impaired Speech Development and Communication Forms”.

School sets the goal to support professional development of teachers who work with children with special educational needs. Program is intended for BA graduates, pre-school and school teachers.

Project is organized by the Ilia State University and carried out with financial and methodological support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.
