Ilia State University Delegates Participate in EAIE 2025 Conference and Leadership Dialogue

Ilia State University proudly participated in the EAIE 2025 Conference and Exhibition in Gothenburg, Sweden — one of Europe’s largest and most influential gatherings of international higher education professionals. Supported by the Education in Georgia Program, supported by the Ministry of Education, Science, and Sport of Georgia, the Georgian universities’ pavilion showcased the country’s international programs, research initiatives, and partnerships on the global stage.

Ilia State University Chancellor, Ketevan Darakhvelidze, joined the Leadership Dialogue hosted by IAU–EAIE at the University of Gothenburg, an exclusive forum bringing together university leaders and policymakers to exchange best practices, shape internationalisation strategies, and explore new collaborative opportunities.Ilia State University’s Head of International Relations, Salome Bilanishvili, presented partner-country perspectives on building successful partnerships and sustaining collaboration within the Erasmus+ Credit Mobility Scheme, highlighting the university’s achievements and lessons learned.

Throughout the event, the Ilia State University team:

  • Presented our latest initiatives in study programs and internationalisation efforts;
  • Highlighted ISU’s partnerships with global institutions, including EU-funded projects and strategic collaborations
