Newly renovated swimming pool of an aquatic sports complex “Olympic” hosted national water polo championship among the sportsmen born in 1995-1996. From eight participating teams two were from the Ilia State University.Representatives of the sports club “Ligamus” did not fail to impress their supporters with a good play.

“Ligamus-1” (players: Mikheil Kilosanidze, Giogi Gabadadze, Giorgi Tsikhelashvili, Akaki Adamia, Sandro Totladze, Giorgi Edilashvili, Erekle Tsamalashvili, Jimmy Brodzeli, Tornike Shengelia, Zurab Chikvaidze, Levan Mosashvili, Lasha Kochiashvili, Luka Shubladze, Revaz Imnaishvili; trainers: Nodar Chkhartishvili and Soso Maisuradze) managed to defeat four teams before losing the final game to “Iveria-1” (score 1:5) and finishing second.

“Ligamus-2” was third after being defeated by the future champions and winning a game with “Tbilisi” (score 5:3). The team was awarded bronze medal.
