On Friday, April 30 Ilia State University hosted a seminar “Spain – Georgia: Reflections of Changes”. Seminar was initiated and supported by the Olof Palme International Center and addressed the issues of policy, economic and social changes in Spain and Georgia.

Seminar was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Spain in Georgia Mr. Jose Antonio Zorilla. Professors from the University of the Basque Country and the University of Barcelona Joaquin Arriola and Carlos Villagrassa delivered speeches along with professors of the Ilia State University Ghia Nodia amd Emzar Jgerenaia. Seminar was attended by those students and professors of the Ilia State University who were later awarded special certificates of participation in an international conference.
