Ilia State University is proud to announce that it has been selected as the host institution for the European Conference on Ethics and Integrity in Academia 2026, organized by the European Network for Academic Integrity (ENAI). The conference will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia, marking a historic occasion for the country and the wider academic community in the region.

This prestigious international gathering, first time in Georgia underscores Ilia State University’s deep commitment to fostering academic integrity and promoting the highest ethical standards in education and research. The 2026 conference will convene leading scholars, educators, policymakers, and practitioners from across Europe and beyond to engage in dialogue, share research, and explore solutions to the most pressing issues in academic ethics and integrity.

In conjunction with the concluding highlight conference, Ilia State University will also host the final dissemination event of the Erasmus+ project “Responsible Conduct of Research – Research Integrity and Ethics in Georgian Universities (ETHICS)”. This dedicated event will present key outcomes, best practices, and policy recommendations from the project, highlighting Georgia’s growing role in advancing responsible research practices and ethical governance in higher education.
